ORCA : Technical Sheet
ORCA is an IoT (Internet of things) device for distribution and management of Direct Current energy, which uses the potential of PoE TYPE4 (Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3bt Type 4) to power any element that requires up to 90 Watts in a range of 2 to 57 VDC.
ORCA also has the ability to receive signals from dry contact sensors, which expands the versatility of its use in different possible functions and applications.
The administration of this device is carried out through a BMS (Building Management System), through the Modbus TCP IP protocol.
It also has the 99%-1% dimming capacity for one of its main applications -PoE lighting-
It is important to highlight that the LED lights that can be connected to these devices do not require the AC-DC Driver, so their cost can be significantly reduced. ORCA works as the connection driver.
Being an element that can be controlled by any BMS with Modbus TCP IP protocol, each input and output of the ORCA becomes an "object" that can be used and combined in control and automation logics in smart buildings.
Being a device that is energized in input and output, with direct current, the average life time increases significantly.

COMMON APPLICATIONS
PoE LED lighting.
Magnetic sheets and access control (requiring up to 90 Watts or less).
Direct Current Motors.
HVAC applications no greater than 90 Watts on DC.
Dry contact sensor receiver.
Power for analog CCTV cameras.
THREE TYPES

OR-POE-PCB2S
This version provides two outputs that combined deliver up to 90 W, accepts a sensor and delivers 12 V to activate the sensor.
It also accepts an input from a “dry contact” signal.
OR-POE-PCB4S
This version delivers four outputs that combined deliver up to 90 W, it does not accept a sensor.
It also accepts an input from a “dry contact” signal.
